This policy explains what personal data Spectacular-Ocular ("we", "us") collects when you use the Massage Maps mobile application ("the App"), why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum we need to run the App.
1. Data we collect

Search history is stored only on your device and can be cleared in Settings. It is never sent to our servers.
2. Who processes your data
The App runs on Google Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, database, file storage, and cloud functions. Google acts as our data processor and stores data in Google Cloud data centres (our project is hosted in the UK/Europe region). Subscription management uses RevenueCat together with Apple App Store / Google Play billing. These providers process data only on our behalf and under their respective data processing terms.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
- We do not show third-party advertising and do not share your data with advertisers.
- We do not track your location in the background.
- We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to running the App.
4. How long we keep data
Account data is kept while your account exists. Reviews and photos remain published while your account exists, unless you delete them or they are removed by moderation.
5. Your rights and deletion
- Delete your account in-app at Settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account record, email, and profile data. Reviews and photos you contributed are retained on the map, relabelled "Deleted user" — delete individual reviews first if you do not want them retained.
- You can access and correct your profile data (display name, country) in Settings at any time.
- Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. UK/EU GDPR), you may also have rights to access, rectify, export, or erase your personal data, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting provider. Access to production data is limited to the App's cloud services and its operator. Content moderation actions are logged.
7. Children
The App is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App and the effective date above will be updated.
